Former teacher for present teachers

I’m a former school teacher of English. Now I teach ( better say help) teachers as a methodist  to use  modern educational techniques. Here are some useful sites and blogs I run.

Modern educational techniques

De Friz Bridge

We're waiting for APEC. To be exact, we're waiting for the bridge to get to Vladivistok not in an hour but in 15 minites.
The Settlement Novy-De Friz-Sedanka-Patrokl highway is under construction. The four-lane high speed highway will connect the Vladivostok airport and the Russky Island. The construction of the highway was launched in November 2009 as part of Vladivostok’s preparations for the APEC summit. This highway is the most modern in the Far East. The highway will opened fully for the traffic in the summer 2012, when a four-kilometer low-water bridge across the Amur Bay is commissioned. The builders have  already connected all bridge spans in the single bridge.

In October we went to the De Friz bridge . It took 5 minutes to reach it. Cool!  Hope in summer we'll enjoy every trip to Vladivostok.

                                                             The view around is terrific!

The road is  worth special praising!

A new era of positive changes north of the DMZ?

Pyongyang today is  reporting that North Korea's leader Kim Jong-Il has died of a heart attack. Only time will tell what this really means for the Korean peninsula and the rest of the world.
I’ve never been in North Korea
I’ve visited South Korea
And I heart it.
I think they do a lot of stuff a whole lot better than Russia. For example, transportation, eating out, ordering food to your house, mail delivery, lack of needing a car, internet, cell phone service, farmer's markets, tourist information. And lots of stuff I can't recall now, I'm sure.

Korean war brought sorrow to hundreds of Korean families separated for more than 50 years. When I asked my Korean boss if he knew that people in NK was starving his answer was: “I don’t care about it” .

One can only hope and pray that Kim Jong-Il’s death will spark the beginning of a new era of positive changes north of the DMZ.

Varya, Lyusi, Lulu...

Varya, Lyusi, Lulu...

She is charming! Leaving for Dubai my daughter brought            a puppy home to make my life loneless while she is so far from me. Varya, Lyusi, Lulu... It's not a simple thing to choose a name for puppy. I call her Varya, for my husband she is Lyusi. Lulu is her arabic name  my daughter gave her. I think  my charming doesn't mind to have many names. She likes us, we adore her. Love matters.
